I was drawn in quickly, and didn't want to stop reading. The characters are well developed, and as a reader I was fervently hoping for a happy ending for all.

There are very sad moments, and a few scary moments as the story develops. The plotting for the past events as well as what is taking place currently are handled well.

I really wanted to know about one character, who played a pivotal role and whose story I feared might not get an ending, but it was a nice and fitting ending.

Really, just beautiful story telling.
