The Last Close Call by Laura Griffin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I am not familiar with this author, but will read other books by her after reading this. It was an interesting premise, and the working relationship between Rowan (who is a genetic researcher, who also researches geneology) teams up with Jack, a police detective.
When they meet I felt a romance would surely develop. Wasn't reading it for that, but finished the book because of the hunt for the serial rapist/murderer.
The writing was good, and I was grateful one twist I feared didn't come to pass.
